Hello! My name is Joseph Woodrow Stevens and this is my Blog. It's called Rabbits'
Blog, because that was the name Mummy and Daddy gave me when I was still
in Mummy's tummy. (Apparently Daddy's sister wanted to call my Daddy Rabbits
when he was born!)
Anyway, Mummy and Daddy write stuff down here about me, 'cos they seem to think it's interesting. I just like all the pictures of me, 'cos I'm gorgeous! I hope you like what Mummy and Daddy have written here. Let them know if you do. They'd like to hear from you!

First swim
We took Joseph for his first swim today. It was quite a big thing. We had to wait a while before taking him as he wasn't big enough for the swim nappies. I was rather panicked about taking him (what if something happened to him, what if we didn't have the right things, what if we were exposed as bad parents...) but I'm glad that Craig pushed the issue as Joseph loved it. He was totally fine in the water and managed to maintain his temperature really well (we were in for over half an hour and the pool wasn't all that warm).
It's weird that he's so fine about water. I didn't learn to swim until quite late because I didn't (and still don't) like water on my face (makes washing rather difficult!). Apparently it's an asthmatic thing so I'm really glad that Joseph is not at all bothered. I do worry that I will have passed my problems on to Joseph but hopefully Craig's huge lung capacity will have dealt with this one.
We'll definately be taking Joseph swimming again.
